2. Service Description & Pricing
MyReceptionist provides an automated AI phone receptionist service designed to answer customer calls, take details, and deliver summaries via SMS, WhatsApp, and email.
- Pay-as-you-go: The service is prepaid. Conversation time is billed at 59p per minute (VAT included where applicable), charged per second.
- Short Calls: Calls under 5 seconds are free of charge.
- UK Dedicated Number: £2.99 per month deducted from your prepaid balance (the first month is included with your initial top-up).
- Alerts: Email notifications are free. Outbound SMS alerts are billed at 8p each. WhatsApp template alerts are billed at 4p each.
- No Lock-in: There are no monthly subscription fees, setup fees, or minimum long-term contracts.
3. Prepaid Credit & Automatic Top-Up
Prepaid credit represents an advance payment for communications and AI receptionist services. Credit is valid for 24 months from the date of your last activity. Prepaid balance does not constitute electronic money (“e-money”) and is non-transferable.
Automatic Top-Up: You may optionally enable automatic top-up to add credit when your balance drops below £3. This option is unchecked by default in compliance with consumer regulations and can be cancelled at any time in your dashboard billing settings.
Grace Period & Number Release: If your balance is exhausted, your receptionist will pause and answer with an unavailability notice. If your monthly number fee cannot be collected due to insufficient balance, a 14-day grace period applies. If credit is not topped up within 14 days, the assigned UK telephone number is permanently released and cannot be recovered.
4. Right of Cancellation & Refunds (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
If you are contracting as a consumer, you have the statutory right to cancel within 14 days of creating your account. Because you request immediate commencement of the service upon topping up, you agree that any used airtime or communications will be deducted, and any remaining unused credit will be refunded upon request to hello@myreceptionist.uk.
5. Call Diverting & Carrier Charges
You are responsible for configuring call forwarding on your handset or mobile network. You remain solely responsible for any call diversion fees, roaming charges, or telecom fees charged by your mobile network operator.
6. Emergency Calls Disclaimer (999 / 112)
MyReceptionist is NOT a substitute for emergency services. It cannot be used to place or receive 999 or 112 emergency calls. In any life-threatening situation or gas emergency, callers must hang up and dial 999 or 0800 111 999 immediately.
7. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use MyReceptionist for fraudulent purposes, impersonation of emergency or regulated bodies, harassing or abusive communications, unsolicited marketing (spam), or unlawful activities. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account violating this policy.
8. AI Assistant Limitations & Liability
Our service uses advanced artificial intelligence (ElevenLabs Agents and Large Language Models). While we implement rigorous instructions and guardrails, generative AI models may occasionally misinterpret caller statements or generate inaccurate responses. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by English law, Omni Flow Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from AI conversational output or missed business opportunities.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
